Sonic Divas

Two established performers, Katrina Caton and Jacqui Lim, are Sonic Divas. The
combination of Katrina, singer and guitarist, and Jacqui, singer and pianist/keyboardist,
brings a unique versatility to provide a wide variety of musical genres and styles.
Perfect for any occasion, they can perform an extensive all-acoustic repertoire, or
combine this with sequenced backing music to provide a full band sound. This means
they can play anything from ‘easy listening’ over-dinner or cocktail function music, right
through to providing a main stage energetic performance to get people up and dancing.
They have performed at a large number of hotels and venues around Adelaide including
the Adelaide Casino, the Seacliff Beach Hotel and the Semaphore Palais. As well as this
they have featured at both private and corporate events such as the AFL Finals
Members Luncheon, the Adelaide Cup, and the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize
Gala Dinner, at venues including the Adelaide Convention Centre, the National Wine
Centre, AAMI Stadium, the Mortlock Library and the South Australian Museum.
Katrina and Jacqui both have a love of performing and enjoy their time on stage, giving
them the ability to build a rapport with any audience. With their experience,
professionalism and extensive repertoire, this makes them the perfect choice for any
high profile event, wedding, or other function. They are constantly adding to their
repertoire which ranges anywhere from the 70’s (or even earlier) to current Top 40 hits.
Katrina Caton
Katrina has been performing professionally throughout New South Wales, Victoria and
more recently South Australia. An accomplished singer and guitarist, she has played
support gigs for many touring bands and has sung in a variety of musical ensembles
from solo, duo, trio, four piece, five piece six piece bands etc through to a 55 piece
band. Katrina has performed in many local bands including “Miss Behaving” and “The
Flaming Sambuccas”.
Katrina has sung on commercial jingles, performed at many high profile corporate
events and released two CD’s of original music receiving national airplay. Katrina owns
and operates a state of the art professional sound system that can cover most venues & audience sizes.

Jacqui Lim
An accomplished singer and pianist, Jacqui Lim has performed at numerous events, including those for the National Basketball League and the Australian Football League, Carols by Candlelight, and the Tasmanian Export Awards. Prior to moving to Adelaide, Jacqui held a six year residency at Hobart’s Wrest Point Casino.
As a solo artist, Jacqui sings and plays a wide variety of easy-listening popular music and has performed on a regular basis at the Intercontinental, Stamford Grand Hotel, the Adelaide Hilton, the Stamford Plaza Hotel, Hotel Grand Chancellor and the Adelaide Casino.
Jacqui has featured on ABC Radio and sung on television commercial jingles. She has released three CDs including a solo album “Degustation”, and the Sonic Divas CD “Passion”.
