Darren Constable

Singer, Guitarist, Harmonica player.


With over 30 years working in the music industry, Darren has built up quite an extensive track record.

From joining his first working band The Icemen to his solo & duo acoustic work, his reformed original band Wormwood who recently played 3 shows for the Semaphore music festival & two rock cover bands Crown Jewels plus Vertigo The U2 Experience , Darren is keeping himself busy.

Back in 1991 Darren formed a popular concept band Appetite For Destruction ‘The Guns N Roses Illusion’ & toured Australia wide, following this was a stripped back acoustic trio ‘Unwired’ who were at the time taking a refreshing approach to live music & opened for Billy Thorpe, The Angels & Chocolate Starfish to name a few.

Darren started international circuit work in 1998 & has worked throughout China, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Morocco & even a couple of shows in Kazakhstan.

Going freelance in Dubai Darren played with a string of bands in popular venues as well as solo & duo work.

A long time favourite at Hard Rock Cafe Dubai & The Chelsea Group of hotels Darren also played exclusively at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Atlantis the Palm on a weekly basis.

Stadium gigs like Dubai Rugby 7’s, Dubai Tennis Open, Dubai Golf, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix & many corporate functions including Emirates Pilots Grand Ball were also regulars.

Now back in Adelaide, his career continues & is not slowing anytime soon.
