Boasting members who have backed Australian Rock Royalty including the King of Aussie Rock Johnny O Keefe, Normie Rowe, Little Patty, Barry Stanton, Glen Shorrock, Kamal, Tony Pantano, The Four Kinsman, Frankie Davidson, Dennis Walter, Denise Drysdale and a number of international acts – RIP IT UP is “Musicalmente Fantastico”.

Band Members

The bands “Engine Room” consists of

  • John Stephens Percussionist
  • Ron Thomas Bass Player
  • Mario Spagnoletti Rhythm Guitar
  • David Brookes SAX-machine.
  • Billy Orr Lead Guitarist

Billy has thrilled punters in support of Johnny O’Keefe and more Australian legends of rock n roll than you can shake a ‘Fender Guitar’ at. Many times a band leader, vocalist and performer in his own right; Billy Orr remains one of the greats in a genre of music that knows no bounds. Add the vocal dynamics and crowd engaging antics of seasoned performer and lovable larrikin frontman Jack McGuire means Rip It Up can wear the “Adelaide’s Premier Classic Rock N Roll Band” badge with justified pride.
